Palin-lol-ogy V

Sarah Palin, the Republican Party's answer to the question no one asked. The writing appears to be on the wall for the Alaskan Governor. We've had our fun times and... actually all of her quirky moments have been fun times for me. Rarely has politics been such stupid fun without the realistic threat of having a moron in charge of a global super-power (try telling me Bush wouldn't have been comedy gold if he lost).

It would be incredibly arrogant and presumptuous of me to say that Ms Palin's moment in the sun is up before the result is called. And I will! But before the Palin-lol meme fades into memory, as she gets a snowbike back to Alaska, let's take the time to reflect on her VP campaign in the form of song.

And now, the end is near;
And so I faced the big election.
My friend, I’ll say it clear,
I’ve lost the vote, of which I’m certain.

I’ve had a campaign thats full.
But not if you’re black or gay;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Highlights, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And made a joke of this election.

I wrecked each charted course;
Put McCain’s career along the sideway,
